The Washington County Senior Softball League (WCSSL) convened for a Team Managers only meeting at the League Presidents request.  The meeting was held on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 at 6:00 PM.  The meeting was held at the City Park Pavilion, Hagerstown, MD.

The following Board members were in attendance: President-AJ Nicolosi, Vice President-Butch Hess, Treasurer-Tommy Hyme, Secretary/Webmaster-Mark Plumley, and League Manager-Bob Thomas. 

All Team Managers were in attendance with the exception of Bill Peterson, who could not attend,  the Mayes Septic team was represented by Butch Hess.

The meeting convened to discuss various league issues to include good sportsmanship. Three rules were discussed and adjusted to allow for fair and equal pick-up of players to avoid a team from forfeiting a game.  A team would be allowed to play with a minimum of 9 players, and Managers were allowed to pickup any members of any team not playing, to include Managers and their Assistant Managers.  The rule for substute runners from homeplate was modified to allow any player to request a substitute runner and not just for 70 plus year old players. Sliding was discussed with no changes being made to this rule.

The rule adjustments were made and accepted and placed up on the league website.
